This Bill is about much more than abortion rights. This Bill is an attempt to govern women’s personal lives by forcing us into unhealthy, unnecessary situations. We will lose years of progress made by the women who fought for our rights in the past. We can not stand by and allow this to happen.
Please get involved, attend a function, take part in YOUR future and the future of women. If you fail to act you will deal with the consequences….having laws forcing themselves on your body and your very personal decisions.

Thanks for breaking this down, Harmony. Arizona has a bill that requires the ultrasound, as well as the pre-abortion counseling. Here’s to hoping we don’t see a heartbeat bill in the upcoming legislative session!

Thanks for the reminder about why the Hyde Amendment makes our work as pro-choice advocates so necessary. Rich women will always be able to access abortions, because they can always go out of state or go to Canada if they have to. It’s low-income women who already don’t have access, simply because of money.
